REVIVAL OF THE ORYX

Revival of the Oryx is an installation that resembles the come back of the Arabian Oryx after the intense captive breeding programs in the UAE. It consists of a series of deteriorated horns -which these animals are hunted for- gradually emerging from the ground. As the populations arise and the animals are revived, the horns start emerging until they are fully revived. The artwork captures the danger these animals where facing in a visual scene, in an attempt to awaken humans to stop their cruelty.
